Our Chateau

"Founded in 2004, Georgian Vazi and Wine traces its roots to the heart of Kakheti, specifically in Veliskikhe. At the core of our offerings is our flagship brand, '8000 Stories.' Specializing in both classical European and traditional Kvevri wines

we pride ourselves on sourcing grapes from our own vineyards nestled in the microzones of the Kakheti region. With a portfolio boasting 130 Georgian grape varieties, we craft collection wines of the highest quality. Since 2016, we've also ventured into the art of aging brandy spirits.

Our History

Since inception, our commitment to excellence has seen our products embraced by discerning palates worldwide, with exports to prominent markets such as Germany, France, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, China, and Central Asia.

In a testament to our dedication to the craft, we embarked on the construction of our Chateau in late 2021. This visionary project encom- passes two traditional Georgian cellars, exquisite restaurants, under- ground cellars, a luxurious hotel, a refreshing swimming pool, spaces for immersive masterclasses on Georgian cuisine, and unique vine- yards.

Our wines are a fusion of innovative techniques and cherished local traditions, ensuring each sip tells a story of craftsmanship and heri- tage."

Georgia - Kakheti

Located at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, Georgia is nestled in the Caucasus region, bordered by Russia to the north, Turkey and Armenia to the south, and Azerbaijan to the east. Kakheti, our esteemed winemaking region, lies in the eastern part of Georgia, renowned for its fertile valleys and rich viticultural heritage."

Georgia offers a diverse selection of wines, from classical European varietals to traditional Georgian Kvevri wines. Our portfolio includes crisp whites, robust reds, and delicate rosés, each reflecting the vibrant colors and unique grape varieties of the region.

Pitcher

An egg-shaped clay vessel with a conical base, a narrow neck, and a disk-shaped head. It is used to make wine. The use of the pitcher is specific - it is buried in the ground and hermeti- cally sealed. In Georgia, bowl-shaped vessels are known from the early Bronze Age, although the specific purpose of many of them is unknown. Kvevri is found in many settlements and monaster- ies of ancient times.

The uniqueness of kvevari wine lies in its color and aroma.
